Julia Katherine "J. K." Larson Cezil, 70, of Watervliet, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI..

In Celebration of her Life, friends may call from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, February 6, 2012 at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Julia will be laid to rest in the Lincoln Township Cemetery in Stevensville, MI. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Benton Harbor, The Benton Harbor Soup Kitchen, or the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan. Julia was born on May 7, 1941, in Berrien Springs, MI to Allen H. and Rebecca Ann (White) Larson. She was a graduate of the Benton Harbor High School, Class of 1959, where she was the drum majorette in its Drum & Bugle Corps. A member since 1961 of the Order of Eastern Star, Coloma Chapter No 307, Julia served as its Worthy Matron from 1980-81.

Julia is survived by her loving daughter, Mariana (Michael) Hoffmann of St. Joseph, MI. She is also survived by her siblings, Dorothy Roehrdanz, LeRoy Larson, Shirley (Jake) Busick, Sr., Allen E. (Jacqueline) Larson, Sister-in-law, Evelyn Larson. Julia is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and many great-nieces and nephews. She was married to David Cezil, who also survives.

Julia was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Walter (Hazel) Larson, Eleanore (Bernie) Klemp, Allen H. Larson, Jr.
