Randall Nye Chinery, 91, formerly of St. Joseph, Michigan, passed away January 30, 2012.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 P.M on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph with Rev. Gail Holman officiating. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.

Randall was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 3, 1920 to Willett, Sr. and Helen Chinery. He attended the Peddie School in New Jersey and grew up in West Lafayette, Indiana before settling in St. Joseph. Randall was a veteran of WWII and graduated from Indiana University. He loved cheering for the Indiana Hoosier basketball team and Big Ten football. Randall also enjoyed sailing and was an avid golfer. He will be remembered as a truly wonderful father and grandfather who was devoted to his family and provided unwavering love, support and encouragement to them throughout his entire life.

Randall is survived by his loving children Patricia, Randall and Nancy and his grandsons Lucas and Kyle.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved brother Willett Chinery, Jr.
