Royman Carlock, 28, of Baroda, passed away Friday, November 18, 2011 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph after a brief illness.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:30 A.M. Saturday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel with Dr. J.O. Hosler officiating. Burial will follow at Ruggles Cemetery in Baroda. Friends may call from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial Donations may be made to the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan. Royman was born January 13, 1983 in St. Joseph to Royman C. & Sandra (Thompson) Carlock. He attended Lakeshore High School and was employed at Ray Construction in Baroda. Royman was an avid hunter & outdoorsman, and enjoyed softball and mechanics. He was very proud of the dune buggy that he built. Royman was everybody's best friend. He had a giving heart, always willing to help anyone, anytime, with anything. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Royman is survived by his long-time companion Rebecca Wood of Stevensville; his mother and step-father Sandy & Bruce Gerlach of Baroda; his father Royman C. Carlock of San Antonio, TX; three sisters-Roxie (Craig) Santanna & Rhonda Carlock, both of San Antonio, Kristin Carlock of Pharr, TX; aunt & uncles-Jimmy (Myra) Thompson of Stevensville, Patricia Thompson of Long Beach, CA, Susan (Bubby) Tole of Fort Wayne, IN, William Thompson of Stevensville; his canine companion Oscar, and friends too numerous to mention.
